Award-winning tour operator Shearings Holidays has launched its 2016/17 Autumn Winter programme, which includes a full range of UK & European Christmas Markets, Festive & New Year holidays, Winter Specials, River Cruises and Carnivals & Events breaks.

New this year, is an updated collection of festive breaks, a special selection of 'Your Time' itineraries for single travellers, a range of music tours and an expanded selection of river cruises and premium Grand Tourer holidays.

New UK Tours

Shearings is offering new winter dates for its popular 'Osborne House' break, which is the filming location of the forthcoming ITV drama Victoria. In-addition, the operator is offering a bigger selection of 'Winter Specials' including a trip to magnificent Salisbury Cathedral for a Christmas carol concert, and a tour exploring Christmas at Alnwick Garden.

The UK programme also features a fabulous collection of 'Christmas & New Year' holidays, staying in one of Shearings exclusive welcoming Bay or Coast & Country hotels or range of partner hotels, including breaks to Cheshire and Edinburgh.  A new range of music tours has also been added with a chance to see popular Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli and the sensational Rod Stewart Live in concert.

There's also an abundance of UK weekend and midweek autumn breaks, including Shearings famous Inclusive breaks, which feature four included drinks vouchers per night and fantastic live entertainment on stays in our Bay Hotels, and in-hotel vouchers to spend during stays in one of our charming Coast & Country hotels. 

European programme
Shearings has enhanced its European Christmas Markets programme too with a new 'Three Countries & Lake Constance' break and a 'Lake Garda & Verona's Christmas Markets – by air' itinerary.  In-addition, there's a superb selection of festive breaks including Christmas breaks to 'Lucerne & the Swiss Alps', charming 'Bruges' and lively Benidorm.

The programme features holidays to some of Europe's most magnificent Winter Wonderlands including 'Munich & its Fairy-tale Castles, with a visit to Neuschwanstein Castle, the inspiration for Disneyland's Sleeping Beauty Castle, as well as a new tour to see 'Scenic Slovenia & Lake Bled' with its stunning castle and National Park scenery.
