Bath's finest hotel is a top pick for the savvy traveller for 2016

This prestigious listing features the editors' and contributing reporters' handpicked selection of their favourite new hotels for 2016. After visiting six continents and 36 countries, the team reduced the list to 60 new hotels that represent not only the trailblazers of the hotel world, but also where the savvy traveller is heading next. The Gainsborough Bath Spa is the only hotel in the UK to offer its guests exclusive access to Bath's famed natural thermal waters in its luxurious spa, an experience that takes guests on a ritualised and immersive self-guided tour in a modern day Roman Bath circuit. The “Hot List” congratulates the hotel's signature feature, as well as its design by award-winning New York-based Champalimaud Design, which pays homage to the building's fascinating history and Georgian characteristics.
