Saint Tropez, France – April 2016: MUSE Saint Tropez will be re-opening on 21 April 2016 to welcome in sun-dappled Tropezian moments and guests for their seventh season with a refreshed reception space. The bespoke property, a part of YTL Hotels' prestigious portfolio of award-winning resorts, hotels and luxury spas worldwide, joined Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH), the champion of exclusive hotels that offer one-of-a-kind experiences, in March 2016.
Cannes. Grasse. Juan les Pins. Monaco. St Jean Cap Ferrat.
Cast your eye along a map of the French Riviera and the names alone conjure visions of summer at its most chic. Of sun and sand. Of lavender and pastis. Of glamorous cars and luxurious yachts. Of paparazzi and movie stars. It was here that a young Brigitte Bardot burst on the scene in Roger Vadim's masterpiece, And God Created Woman, in 1956. Baie de Pampelonne, made legendary by the movie with its soft white sand, is situated in Ramatuelle - a picturesque medieval village perched on a rocky cliff top where MUSE Saint Tropez calls home, just minutes from Place de Lices – one of the world's most stylish epicentres.
Encapsulating the laid-back glamour of the Riviera, MUSE Saint Tropez is a chic retreat that reflects architectural simplicity, nestled in the heart of an ecological garden that was awarded the Gold Victory accolade at the Landscape Victory Award ceremony in 2012. The landscape architect, Sophie Agata Ambroise, designed the enchanting three acres of sun-dappled self-sustainable gardens to provide a restorative oasis of serenity and transitional spaces for conversations, entertainment or simply to commune with nature. The reception, re-designed by Philippe Xerri, a Parisian stylist and creator of the brand 'Rock the Kasbah', sports a new look that is reminiscent of the seaside in turquoise tones and natural wood this season.
Named as one of the Top 10 'Sexiest Bedroom in the World' winners in 2015, voted by The Smith Hotel Awards, its fourteen elegant suites lie nestled in the heart of the garden, each dedicated to famous muses and characteristically individual in décor and ambience, that opens onto private gardens or wooden terraces and plunge pools in selected suites. All suites feature cool French stone flooring, mamorino wall finishes, sensuous linens by Pierre Frey and exclusive retro-chic furniture made-to-order by Henryot, one of France's oldest manufacturers for the royal court at Versailles.
The main pool is interpreted as a water salon surrounded by a bar, gymnasium, cabanas and loungers for sun seekers, indulgent massages, light meals or sundowners, complemented by soothing lounge music. The exquisite 'M' restaurant evokes the senses with seasonal harvests from the Mediterranean, the Atlantic coastline and sourced from artisanal local producers, before being transformed into creative expressions by the talented young chef, Emily Myotte. Non-guests are also permitted entry to relax by the stunning pool and dine on the sublime cuisine for a nominal fee.
Rejuvenation with old world spa traditions combined with customised treatments and care products inspired by natural elements sourced from plants found in the garden such as thyme and lavender, can be arranged in the privacy of the suites. Exclusive spa products are based on the hydrolat technique - the result of a fine distillation technique where microscopic essential oil droplets are suspended in water to allow for the active ingredients to penetrate the skin for gentle and optimum benefits. Guests are pampered with renowned therapeutic care protocols for the body and face, and proprietary technologies that are the hallmark of the massage therapists.
MUSE Saint Tropez is an elegant venue where the ambience and features combine to create lasting memories. Offering excellent facilities and dedicated service that surpass expectations, the hotel is a perfect setting for private events, wedding celebrations, baptisms or impressive business meetings. A pétanque pitch is available to provide guests with a competitive spirit an opportunity to organise chic tournaments.
From dedicated concierge services, conveniences for mobile devices to complimentary shuttle services to town or the beach and custom-made bicycles, guests' needs are met with impeccable service around the clock. MUSE Saint Tropez is a celebration of senses, tastes and textures, aiming to evoke pleasure to the eye and make each second a true tribute to art where minute details interweaves with life's perfect moments or time bubbles of pure happiness.

The Philosophy of MUSE
The MUSE collection of bespoke properties, a part of YTL Hotels' eclectic award-winning portfolio, is exclusive in number and set in secluded milieus, each with distinctive personalities designed to inspire and resonate. MUSE pays tribute to the daughters of Zeus, king of the gods and Mnemosyne, goddess of memory; the original muses that embodied a different art each and inspired creation. In emulation of muses as sources of an artist's inspiration, the ultimate unparalleled experiences are brought to life.
