Proceeds from the event will be donated to some very worthy causes: firstly, to Koh Samui's new School for Autistic Children and secondly to the Green Project supported by the Hotel Associations.

Hansar Samui supported with 1,500 bottles of drinking water, 1,000 bananas and cut oranges. The event started at midnight; all participants, which were approximately 1,200 people, came and gathered at the start to join the run 5 kilometers or 10 kilometers around the buzzy and lively streets of Chaweng Beach.

Each month, Hansar Samui holds or supports a different event within the local community as part of its corporate social responsibility program.
