Following their annual winter closure, Chateau Cordeillan-Bages, Pauillac, France has re-opened its doors on ready to welcome guests once again. During this period there has been a lot of activity in preparation for the busy 2016 season ahead.

Renovations – the first phase of a three-year plan to transform the bedrooms has started; April will see delivery of the first seven beautifully refurbished rooms and the new “Premium” category of accommodation. Room rates for this new category will start at €329
Michelin Guide 2016 – under the guidance of Meilleur Ouvrier de France, Bordeaux's most exciting chef, Jean-Luc Rocha, has retained the restaurant's two Michelin stars. Chateau Cordeillan-Bages was first awarded two stars in 1999 and chef Rocha has successfully maintained their world gourmet status since 2010.
Global Best of Wine Tourism 2016 – Lynch Bages & Cie has been voted 'Global Best of Wine Tourism 2016' for France, by the International Network of Great Wine Capitals. Great Wine Capitals is a network of eight major wine regions in the northern and southern hemispheres. Lynch Bages & Cie has been bestowed this prestigious award for the outstanding experience provided to their guests.
VisitFrenchWine.com – is the new portal dedicated to wine tourism in France. Launched and created by Atout France, Chateau Lynch-Bages and Cordeillan-Bages are among the 15 founding members alongside a roll call of other prestigious brand partners.
Art and Wine Tours – for the second year running Chateau Cordeillan-Bages have partnered with the Bordeaux tourism to become part of their weekly Art and Wine tours that take place from 19th May until mid-October.
New 2016 Packages
Jump the Estuary - experience the difference between the left and the right banks of Bordeaux with two of the region's most prestigious vineyards, Chateau Lynch-Bages, Classified Growth, Pauillac and Chateau Pavie, 1er Classified Growth of Saint-Emilion. These two family operated wineries have teamed up together with their respective hotels – the Chateau Cordeillan-Bages with its 2* restaurant and L'Hostellerie de Plaisance with its 1* restaurant - to offer guests the opportunity to experience the very clear differences in wine and cuisine. Fine well-being in Pauillac – dedicated for the the health conscious guests, Chateau Cordeillan-Bages have designed a special overnight package designed to rejuvenate, a welcome infusion of vitamins on arrival, 2 hrs classic bike rental to meander through the vineyards, a three course gluten free dinner and a healthy breakfast the following morning. Prices start at €269 per person based on two people sharing. Valid until 12th November 2016
