This tour begins within the rainforest of Batu Katak (North Sumatra, Indonesia), home of the elusive tiger, and will allow you to directly contribute and witness the tiger conservation efforts in the field. Stepping into the rainforest, you will witness the raw beauty of the Sumatran jungle. On your travel journey, you'll get a taste of what is involved in protecting the Sumatran Tiger; as you meet the forest rangers who are working at the front-line to save the species within the Gunung Leuser National Park. You'll accompany members of a real jungle patrol team, collect camera traps, witness wildlife in their natural habitat, record your observations and camp in beautiful rainforest.

As part of our custom-designed itinerary, we will take you away from the main travelled routes. With our Wildlife Expert Leader and experienced local field guides, your small group will explore parts of Sumatra that only few have seen.  Once you book, a $250 donation will be made directly to tiger conservation.

• Participating in real life forest patrol and monitoring program.
• Collecting evidence of illegal activities and learn what it's like to be a forest ranger!
