Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza will kick off its summer season with one of the world's most influential music industry gatherings, the Ibiza International Music Summit (IMS), for the third consecutive year from 25-27 May 2016.
Now a major opening weekend on the island, IMS will bring together the most influential decision makers in electronic music at Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza for three days of debates, workshops, panel sessions and afternoon mixers to set the agenda for the music genre for the year ahead. Having launched with the summit as its first ever event back in 2014, Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza has close connections with the electronic music festival, emphasising both the hotel's musical heritage and its status as one of the island's leading venues.
Combining the style and energy of the legendary Hard Rock brand with the vibrant Ibiza island setting, Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza sits on the seafront of Ibiza's iconic Playa d'en Bossa. Leading figures from the music industry will be able to enjoy the hotel's five star facilities, including the Rock Spa®, Body Rock® gym, two outdoor pools featuring underwater speakers pumping out musical beats to swimmers below the waterline, and rooftop sky lounge. Music moguls will particularly enjoy the hotel's complimentary Sound of Your Stay service, which enables guests to create their own personalised soundtrack to listen to in their rooms or download onto their iPod, order a Fender guitar to their room to play during their stay, or try out their mixing ability with the use of a Traktor Kontrol Z1 mixer, and a laptop loaded with digital mixing software.
The summit will include its flagship open-air party on 27 May at Ibiza's UNESCO World Heritage Site, Dalt Villa. Closing the summit in spectacular style, the party will feature world-renowned artists from the realms of electronic music with highlights including Dubfire, Tale of Us, Nicole Moudaber, Benjamin Damage, B Traits, and Francesca Lombardo.
Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza opens for its third season on 1 May 2016. Rooms are priced from £189 (243€) based on two people sharing and including breakfast. Details on Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza's official opening party and 2016 entertainment line-up will be announced in due course. For more information, www.hrhibiza.com
