The first Adina Apartment Hotel in Munich will open in 2019 in redeveloped business district

The former industrial area, Werksviertel, adjacent to the Munich east station will be transformed into a new business and residential quarter, with Munich´s first Adina Apartment Hotel to be built on top of the former Pfanni potato Silo. Adina has signed a lease agreement with the owner, OTEC, which will see the development of the biggest Adina Hotel in Europe with a total of 234 studios and apartments.

Construction will commence in early 2017 and the opening is scheduled for the beginning of 2019. Overall, the building has 24 floors, of which Adina Apartment Hotels has leased the upper 16 floors. The existing climbing gym in the former silo will be preserved and expanded with an outdoor area, the remainder of the silo will be demolished and rebuilt.

The superior hotel design, created by Steidle Architects, Munich, surprises with a breathtaking panoramic view over the city of Munich and to the Alps, with the lobby, restaurant and bar as well as a double height 200 square meter ballroom, located on the 13th floor of the 80 meter high tower. Another highlight is the spacious spa area with pool, gym and sauna area with a large outdoor terrace on the 14th floor.

The mixture of rooms is as in all Adina Apartment Hotels: spacious studios of at least 30 square meters as well as larger one and two bedroom apartments with a separate living room, all with a fully equipped kitchen and laundry, combining modern design with a home-like atmosphere.

In the immediate vicinity of the new Adina Apartment Hotel Munich, the new urban district “Werksviertel” will offer a unique mix of loft offices, artist studios, boutiques, restaurants, cafes, clubs and music locations, established in restored former industrial buildings or modern new buildings.
