Festive events…
To kick off the festivities Gleneagles is hosting a sparkling Christmas dinner and party at The Dormy Clubhouse on Saturday 5th December. This event marks the start of the festive season at Gleneagles, followed by their annual Festive Markets (12th and 13th December) including handcrafted arts and crafts, ceramics, bespoke artworks and luxury jewellery, photography and locally sourced artisan food to jump start Christmas shopping.
The hotel will play home to traditional seasonal entertainment as they present a pantomime adaptation of Rudyard Kipling's classic "The Jungle Book”. Enjoy pre-show drinks and canapés in The Glendevon Room before moving through to The Gleneagles Suite for the performance on Sunday 20th December.
Fun Christmas activities for the whole family…
The jam-packed Christmas schedule offers something for everyone. A full day of activities on Christmas Eve, means guests can enjoy ceramic classes, air rifle shooting, golf swing tutorials and more while the little ones can own a pony for the afternoon. Little guests will get one last chance to post their letters to Santa as his elves stop by in the afternoon before hitting the ice rink to watch the professionals don their skates for a stunning performance. Cocktails and fireworks top off the evening before Christmas Eve dinner and late night music in the bar.
On Christmas morning, young guests will welcome Santa as he arrives at the hotel and follow him through to the magical Grotto where some presents await. A traditional Christmas lunch with a touch of magic follows before traditional Christmas Day Gala Dinner Buffet and music in the bar until late. Transport will be provided to local church services on both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
