Starwood Hotels Debuts on the Island Of Sulawesi with The Opening Of Four Points Makassar In Indonesia

   POINT 1: Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. (NYSE: HOT) today announced the opening of Four Points Makassar in South Sulawesi, Indonesia; marking Starwood's debut onto the 11th largest island in the world. Located in the heart of the Jalan Landak Baru business district in Sulawesi's largest city, the new Four Points Makassar will be the 16th Starwood property in Indonesia.

 

   POINT 2: Owned by PT. Investama Menara Bagus (IMB Group), Four Points Makassar features 270 spacious and contemporary guest rooms and five dining venues, including a full-service restaurant, The Eatery and a Pan-Asian Restaurant that will feature Makassar's first Teppanyaki Live Station. The hotel will also boast 9,200 square meters of meeting space, one of the largest in Makassar, a 24-hour fitness center and outdoor swimming pool and the brand's popular amenities including fast and free WiFi throughout the hotel, complimentary bottled water, and a chance to sample authentic local beers as part of the signature Best Brews™ program.
