Jacada Travel Launches Japan Itineraries

Jacada Travel

Japan consists of a fascinating blend of culture rich customs, craftsmanship and traditions amongst modern futuristic architecture and innovative technological advances. Allow your senses to be stimulated with high-speed bullet train trips to explore outside the bustling sci-fi cityscape.  Be mesmerised by kimono clad geishas shuffling down the streets of Kyoto and let the stresses and troubles melt away in the traditional onsen hot spring.  Delve into the internationally minded metropolis of Okinawa's bohemian laid-back vibe and exciting melting pot of mixed cultures.

Jacada's Travel Designers have explored above and beyond to offer a diverse true taste of Japan.  Discover Japan with a Classic introduction.  Staying at luxury accommodation throughout the trip beginning with Tokyo one of the most exciting and modern cities in the world. Take a high-speed bullet train where the journey transports its passengers back in time to Kanazawa, a preserved medieval part of Japan, with private guided tours to the impressive samurai and geisha districts, followed by a kaiseki dinner of up to 13 dishes.  Finally at Kyoto, you will discover the imperial side of Japan at the “City of Ten Thousand Shrines” with private guided tours to the ancient temples and palaces.

Be enchanted and swept away by the magical setting of the Cherry Blossom trees. Japan in Spring is renowned for the idyllic thick cloak of fluffy pink petals.  The tour kicks off with Kyoto to see Nijo Castle's 430 cherry trees in full bloom, as well as to explore the ancient palaces, traditional townhouses and ornate shrines.  Then off to Tokyo on the bullet train to see Hamarikyu Garden and Ueno Park under a blanket of rich pink hues, contrasted against the city's captivating bright lights.

Invigorate your taste buds on a Luxury Gourmet Tour. Japanese culture is one of the most well known for its cultural characteristics of exquisite presentation and form.  The cuisine strikes a fine balance between textures and exotic flavours.  In Tokyo you will be taught how to choose the freshest catch of the day at a bustling fish market, before learning to make sushi and soba noodles led by a top chef, as well as taking part in a traditional tea ceremony.

Next stop – off to Kyoto by Bullet train where the famous Fushimi sake breweries are to enjoy a private “Japanese home food” class, a traditional “Shojin” (vegetarian devotion) meal that is typically eaten by Zen Buddhist monks, before stopping at Nishiki market – a lively narrow five-block long shopping street that sells food related items from cookware to fresh seafood and other seasonal delicacies.  Finally at Osaka, the “Kitchen of Japan”, soak in the sights and smells of its acclaimed street food.

Throughout the journey there will be opportunities to explore ornate shrines and other captivating cultural exhibits.
