Tuscany, 8 July 2015: Gastronomic events are now on the menu at To Tuscany. The private chef service Cucinando per te is the latest addition to the villa-booking website's hand-picked selection of luxurious experiences for guests.
Cucinando per te, founded by Claudio and Elisabetta Gabelli, increases the number of private chef services tried, tested and now recommended by To Tuscany to 10. All have been chosen for their use of top-quality ingredients, excellent standards of service and, of course, supreme cooking skills.
Other gourmet experiences endorsed by To Tuscany, in its quest to help guests create memory-making holidays, include a private wine-shopping service with expert guide Paola Pavan. She accompanies guests to the very best vineyards in Tuscany, as well as organising private tastings at villas. Meanwhile, truffle hunting with hounds is among the exceptional artisan tours offered by Sapori e Saperi Adventures that also get the active villa company's stamp of approval.
Beyond food and wine, further luxurious experiences specially selected for guests include personal shopper Elisa Peretoli, an experienced fashion buyer from Florence who tailor-makes tours of the region's designer boutiques. Art in Chianti, which fuses music and the arts, is one of four musicians and ensembles available to give private performances at villas. And Driving The Dream offers guests the chance to hire a selection of Ferraris, as well as a Harley Davidson 883 Sporter motorbike. These are just some of the indulgent ideas showcased on the website, which can be gathered together in a free, downloadable guide.
To Tuscany currently features 33 “Pure Luxury” villas in its collection, including Villa Ferraia (pictured above), a superb 14-bedroom traditional stone property for up to 27 guests. This elegant villa, dating from the 13th century, is set in beautiful gardens at the top of a mountain, with views across the Merse valley. It is perfectly presented for luxury living, from the exquisite antique furnishings to its state-of-the-art technology.
Sumptuous features include a suite created from an ancient chapel, a large, shaded outdoor dining space, a private cinema and an astronomical observatory. Villa Ferraia also has a chlorine-free swimming pool, a
sauna and spa pools, lakes stocked for trout fishing and a helipad. From £17,597 to £23,463 per week, according to season.

The site allows customers to book direct with owners yet benefit from the peace of mind of paying through a secure portal.
