Tucan Travel Launch New Overland Tours in South America

Tucan Travel

Tucan Travel have announced the launch of new Overland Tours in South America. Travelling on board their purpose-built, expedition vehicles and staying in the equivalent in comfort of 3* hotels for most of the journey, Tucan Travel have added more highlights into the itineraries allowing you to spend even more time in each destination.

Tucan Travel's new Overland Tours in South America will be almost entirely hotel based with camping only available when absolutely necessary – on the Inca Trail Trek, in Torres del Paine National Park and when watching the Catatumbo lightening phenomenon on Lake Maracaibo in Venezuela. They have also added in flights to their itineraries, cutting down some long travel days and ensuring travellers get to make the most of every day spent in South America. This has also allowed Tucan Travel to include more highlights in the itineraries without having to extend the length of the tours. Travellers will now spend more time in Patagonia, visiting Queulat National Park, Futaleufu and Coyhaique. A visit to Angel Falls is also now part of the itinerary including a flight over the falls for views from above and below.

Jac McPherson, Sales & Marketing Manager at Tucan Travel is quoted, “We are delighted with this change to our itineraries. We believe the more comfortable accommodation will appeal to a wider range of travellers looking to explore South America in depth and by private transport.”
