Scarlett PR

St Mary's Inn which stands near the village of Stannington and market town of Morpeth, is a new vibrant pub with rooms and is both welcoming and pet friendly.

Set within acres of beautiful countryside and only 10 minutes from the A1 and 20 minutes North of Newcastle upon Tyne, St Mary's Inn has tradition at its heart with warmth and generosity whether you eat, drink or stay. All of which, can also be enjoyed with man's best friend by your side.

Being located within a burgeoning modern housing estate, community is the essence of the area and four legged friends are unquestionably at the centre of a country community. Eagle eyes will have already seen two horses tied up recently outside the entrance to the new pub. Well, its thirsty work getting out in the countryside!

Once ready to relax and retire for the evening, St Mary's Inn has 11 large and spacious en-suite bedrooms with queen or king beds– including one with disabled access - all located on the first floor. Each has its own identity and is fitted with furniture sourced from around the country. The luxury pub with rooms offers the spacious, light and airy Whittle Dene room to those travelling with theirdog. They'll enjoy a cosy blanket, a much coveted bag of treats, as well as a water and food bowl to make them feel at home.

Comfort at St Mary's Inn, is assured for both the weekender and their pet!

About St Mary's Inn

St Mary's Inn B&B is designed with one aim; to give you a good night's sleep. Our rooms are light and airy, with big windows and soft carpets, they're uncluttered and comfortable. Minimalist modern tables and wrought-iron bedsteads mix with well-worn antiques – perhaps a Victorian wardrobe or Edwardian desk – while bathrooms are roomy and well-lit. Bright throws and curtains add a dash of fun. Different shapes, different outlooks, many have high ceilings; one has a terrace.

Whether for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea or dinner, our food is reassuringly familiar but by no means dull. We aim to be best-in-class. We put taste ahead of trickiness. Our suppliers are as passionate about quality as we are; some ingredients we grow ourselves.

At our huge oak bar you won't have trouble catching the barman's eye. Choosing may be harder. Four real ales – including our custom-made St Mary's Ale from Tyne valley's Wylam Brewery – are always available. Craft keg beers, ciders, speciality lagers, over 15 wines by-the-glass and locally made soft drinks are some of our other highlights.
