Easter at Blenheim Palace

The Pleasure Gardens will transform 3 – 6 April into a traditional Victorian fairground with a Lighthouse Helter Skelter, Victorian carousel, tea cups and Victorian swing boats. Families can see Punch & Judy Shows as well as watch Balloon Twisters, take part in Circus Skills Workshops, admire Stilt-Walkers and have their faces painted. Enjoy an Easter Trail and meet both Peter Rabbit and the Easter Bunny.

Win a Maison Blanc GIANT Easter Egg

The Oxfordshire Patisserie, Maison Blanc, has sent a GIANT Easter Egg to Blenheim Palace. Visitors can enter the Easter Trail competition in the Pleasure Gardens to win the chocolate egg.

Sight Savers Walk

Enjoy the great outdoors and raise money to help save sight in some of the world's poorest countries with the Sight Savers annual sponsored walk around the Capability Brown Parkland at Blenheim Palace. The walk takes place on a four mile circuit, and entry to the Park is free for people with walk cards. All routes are accessible for wheelchairs and buggies and dogs on leads are welcome to join in too.

Seeding the Churchill Memorial Garden

Seeding has begun in the Churchill Memorial Garden. The garden, designed by Kim Wilkie, is due to open in June and shows the journey and key milestones in Sir Winston's Churchill's life.

CADA Antiques Fair

The Cotswolds Art & Antiques Dealers' Association Fair returns Blenheim Palace this April. Lady Henrietta Spencer-Churchill is the Patron of the Association, and with over 4,000 visitors at last year's inaugural event excitement is building. The best and rare examples of every discipline will be showcased, creating a rich tapestry of history and culture. The fair will be the perfect place to hunt for the best that the Cotswolds can offer, and promises to be one of the best quality events outside of London.

Brabant Tapestries Restoration

Blenheim Palace's unique tapestries are due to be sent to Belgium for cleaning this month, a process which takes a year to complete. The Brabant tapestries are part of the Victory Series, commissioned by the 1st Duke of Marlborough and are an accurate historical record of British Military History.
