European Waterways is the largest hotel barge operator in Europe with a fleet of 18 vessels. Due to late availability, we can offer a press trip facility for a travel writer, plus one guest, on each of the cruises departing on the dates listed below. Each 6 night cruise departs on a Sunday and only one twin/double-bedded cabin is available on each date.

May 24, Burgundy - aboard La Belle Epoque on the Upper Burgundy Canal. Classic Burgundy cruising, Chablis wine tastings, visits to chateaux.Transfers to and from Paris.

April 19, Burgundy - aboard L'Impressionniste on the Lower Burgundy Canal. Classic Burgundy cruising, private wine tastings, tours of Beaune, Dijon. Transfers to and from Paris.

 April 19 Upper Loire– aboard Renaissance on the Canal de Briare. Lovely scenery, Sancerre wine-tasting, chateaux visits, Gustav Eiffel's aqueduct.

May 10, Canal du Midi – aboard Anjodi. Classic cruising on a 300 year old UNESCO canal.  Outstanding scenery, tours of Carcassonne, Narbonne, Minerve, wine tastings. Transfers to and from Narbonne.

April 26, May 10 – aboard Scottish Highlander on the Caledonian Canal & Loch Ness. Fantastic scenery in the Scottish Highlands, whisky tastings, castle visits. Transfers to and from Inverness.
