Favorite adventures from the 50 countries I have visited over the years include crossing the Salar de Uyuni from Bolivia into Chile in a Toyota Land Cruiser, learning to scuba dive in Dahab, Egypt and a two-night felucca trip on The Nile, trekking to Annapurna base camp in Nepal, snowboarding in Hokkaido, Japan, and a two-month surf trip along Mexico's Pacific Coast.
