Prior to his appointment, Grant was associate editor of travel publications that includes domestic tourism and cruising. Grant was also the launch editor of a registered clubs' industry publication and is a former food editor, chief features subeditor and travel writer for The Daily Telegraph. In addition, he has worked as a senior producer in current affairs at both Nine and Seven networks. Grant is a mad Sydney Swans fan and an official Ambassador of the team.
