$4.3 million Federal Grant funds six YARTS Electric Buses

These zero-emission vehicles will operate on Yosemite Area Regional Transportation System routes by the end of 2020, making YARTS the first public transit agency to utilize battery-operated vehicles for service into a National Park.

Yosemite Songwriting Retreat Brings Laura Love, David Jacobs-Strain and Joe Craven to Midpines

The Yosemite Songwriting Retreat is scheduled for October 5 through 8 at the Yosemite Bug Rustic Mountain Resort in Midpines, California. Tuition fees for the retreat are $400.00. Accommodation prices start at $226 per person. All retreat accommodation packages include taxes and eight meals from The Bug's gourmet café, which features fresh, organic and local foods with an emphasis on vegan and vegetarian offerings. Retreat participants also receive special discounts on spa services, including yoga classes, hot tubbing and sauna. The retreat is open to anyone 18 years and over.
