The Ontario Tourism Marketing Partnership Corporation would like to invite you to submit an nomination to the 2015 Ontario Tourism Awards.

As part of the Ontario Tourism Awards - Marketing Awards of Excellence, two categories apply to travel media, Travel Media Story Award and Travel Media Photography Award. Submissions should be for stories and photography taken between January 1 and December 31, 2014.

Ontario is great place to feature in compelling stories and images and a bonus when your story or blog or photograph is recognized by an official award.

The deadline for submissions has been extended to July 15,2015. The nomination process is simple and FREE! Please see details below about each of the awards.

Travel Media Story Award

This award category applies to any travel media story published provincially, nationally or internationally that features tourism in Ontario (including Ontario tourism destinations, attractions, tourism products, tour operators, festival and events, transportation providers, etc.). This could include published articles or featured stories in print, TV, radio, online (including blogs or vlogs). Advertising features are not eligible in this category. The story must be between 500 and 1200 words.

One overall prize of C$1,000 is awarded to the winner. Please note that monetary awards will be divided evenly for multi-author entries.

Travel Media Photography Award

This award category applies to any photography published provincially, nationally or internationally that features tourism in Ontario (including Ontario tourism destinations, attractions, tourism products, tour operators, festivals and events, transportation providers, etc.). This could include photography featured in magazines, newspapers, television broadcasts or online. Advertising features are not eligible in this category.

One overall prize of C$1,000 is awarded to the winner.
